Dian Chung majored in Korean traditional art in school, influenced by her grandparents who like traditional art and her mother who studies hanbok. She pursued studies in England and the United States to learn more from art with a Korean identity. Her interaction with people in the multicultural society, the emotions she experiences, and the events she attended allowed her to have more inspiration in art.
She paints and aims to deliver positive energy to the audience. Capturing trivialities and emotions in her paintings make her work approachable. It allows the audience to share the same feeling with her and be reassured from her work. Merging Korean iconographic contents with different mediums, such as digital works and NFTs, to diversify her art in the digital era.
