Through using 3D software as his main tool of creation, Axl Le (乐毅) creates imagined worlds and stories that explore a wide array of topics, such as the relationship between nature and technology, society and individual, present and future. Through these worlds, Axl reflects on events in his life that left a great impression on him. A recurring theme in his creation is re-exploring the surroundings, situations and people he encounters.
Axl was born in 1989 in Shanghai, China and is currently living in Oslo, Norway. After graduating with a BA in Architecture from Shanghai University in 2013, he worked as an architect for a short period before deciding to follow his dream of becoming an artist.
